Kate Bernheimer is the author of two novels and editor of the essay collections Mirror, Mirror on the Wall: Women Writers Explore Their Favorite Fairy Tales (Anchor/Vintage 2002) and Brothers & Beasts: An Anthology of Men on Fairy Tales (forthcoming Wayne State University Press 2007). Editor of Fairy Tale Review, she lives in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, where she teaches in the MFA program at the University of Alabama.
